Finding Stuff

To understand how to get around, it’ll be easier once you realise that the web site software treats posts and pages differently.  Posts can be tagged and categorised, but pages cannot.  Pages are supposed to be used for more permanent content which people read occasionally or just once.  Posts are supposed to be more useful and more up to date and site visitors may want to look at them perhaps many times – they therefore have more indexing and so forth.

You can get to the pages using the tabs at the top of each page or post.

To help you navigate around the site, we’ve added links to the posts.  If you click on one of the national flags at the top of each page /post, then this will open the country bundle post.  From these posts, you can navigate to a city or area bundle post using hyperlinks in the text.   On the city /area bundle posts, the flags are still there, and the national flags allow you to navigate back to country posts.

You can also use categories and tags to find the posts that you want.  We’ve used categories on a geographic basis – each post is categorised by continent and country.  So if you wish to find all the posts about France’s MP3 travel guides, then open the pull down menu under Categories (bottom right of the page) and select the France category.  It will then select all the relevant posts and present them to you 3 posts at a time.

We’ve used tags differently.  Each post is labelled with the type of destinations it covers – say a castle or gardens or factory. You can use tags to find all the cathedrals or all the Roman ruins by clicking on the tag in the tag cloud.

Some posts, which cover other subjects such as gadget reviews or travel articles will use other categories and tags,  but you can still use them in the same way to find them.

If all else fails, there is always the search box !

What if I want to buy something ?

Each bundle has a “Add to Cart” button  ( btn_cart_LG ) on the relevant post.  Click on the button and the item is added to the Shopping Cart, which will then appear on the top right of the post.  When you’ve added everything  to the cart, then go to the checkout.  At this point, you’ll be transferred to Paypal’s site and you’ll see their web pages.  They deal with your credit card stuff and when the payment is cleared, you’ll come back to mp3travelclub.com and you’ll be able to download what you’ve bought using a download link exclusive to you.  You have 48 hours to do so, so please do it straight away, because these files are quite large and can take a  little while if you have a slow connection.

After that it’s down to you to follow your MP3 players instructions as to how to copy it from your PC /Mac / whatever to your MP3 player, unless of course you’re doing all this on your mobile phone (What a gadget boy/girl you are!) .
