Here’s the story of MP3travelclub.com!   We went on holiday to an Central European city over Christmas with a tour.  The tour was quite expensive and included a guide.  We liked her and she knew what she  was talking about, but……….  understanding her accented English was a problem – we could either lip read and listen or look at what we ‘d come to see and not understand or a bit of both. As we left another fantastic building, one of us was getting a bit frustrated with this, and to be honest not looking where he was going.  As he muttered away to myself, he bumped into this guy wearing an MP3 player (he probably wasn’t looking where he was going either).  Perhaps he was a bit surprised at my reaction as it was a bit of a Eureka moment (it’s alright, clothes were worn) and decided that back at the hotel we’d have a look on the Internet to see what we could find. Well to keep a long story short, we weren’t very impressed, our first thought was “We could do better than that” and then our second thought was “We are going to do it better!”.

Well, here it is so far, there’s more to come, we hope you like it do far and we ‘d like to know what else we can do. As well as the travel guides, we’ll be doing travel related articles, you know, things about stuff like travel insurance, electrical connections abroad, buying cheap flights, medical cover and that sort of practical stuff and then some other articles about travel gadgets including of course MP3 players.  This is because I like gadgets as well as travel!  We’ll also be looking at the big sporting events (Americas Cup, Six Nations Rugby, Test matches, Wimbledon to name a few) and some of Arts Festivals (eg Edinburgh Festival, Cannes Film Festival, Salzburg Festival, etc). Every now and then, I’ll also let you know how the next batch of travel guides is coming along.
