London City Bundle
By
Our London city bundle covers some of the enormous variety of things to do around London. As one of the world’s largest cities for many centuries, London has a rich history, many churches /cathedrals, theatres, concert halls, galleries and museums and many of them are world class. There are several famous landmarks (often used by filmmakers to show the audience where they are) and we could have covered (and will in the future cover) 2 or 3 times more places. Anyway, here is what we have so far:
St Paul’s Cathedral – Christopher Wren’s best known design offers good views across London if you’re willing to climb the steps
Tate Modern - where London keeps its modern art
Tower Bridge – one of those landmarks – near the Tower of London
National Gallery – a huge collection of paintings
Palace of Westminster – better known as the Houses of Parliament and the site of Big Ben
London Eye – Built for the Millennium celebrations and now one of the best ways to see the overview of London
Buckingham Palace – the Queen’s London Home
Changing of the Guard – one of Britain’s oldest and best known ceremonies of state, loaded with tradition and lots of smartness!
Cabinet War Rooms – where Churchill spent much of the second World War
Lord Cricket ground – the home of cricket
British Museum – a collection of millions of items from all over the world, showing the history and culture of many peoples. Regular exhibitions highlight parts of the collection in turn
